Through conversations with riders, I recognized a gap in transportation options for airport travel in Colorado Springs. That’s why I founded On The Way in 2022. My mission is to offer a professional, prompt, and reliable transportation service for clients traveling between the Colorado Springs area and both Denver International and Colorado Springs airports.

  • We accept payment in cash, credit/debit card, Venmo, and Zelle.

  • While a reservation is not required, we highly recommend booking in advance to ensure availability for your preferred date and time. Unlike taxis or rideshare services, we do not have vehicles stationed at the airport and cannot guarantee immediate service on short notice. As a private car service focused on providing personalized experiences, planning ahead allows us to deliver the best service possible. However, if you happen to need a ride without a prior reservation, don’t hesitate to reach out. We’ll do our best to accommodate you, even on short notice

  • Yes, the driver will reach out to you approximately 24 hours before your scheduled service to confirm the details.

  • No, child seats are not provided. However, our vehicles are equipped with child seat anchors, and we can securely store your child seat while you’re away on vacation, ensuring it’s ready for your return trip.

  • For most flights, it’s recommended to arrive at the airport with the following timeframes:

    Denver International Airport (DIA):

    Domestic Flights: Arrive at least 2 hours before your scheduled departure time.

    International Flights: Arrive at least 3 hours before your scheduled departure time.

    Colorado Springs Airport (COS):

    Domestic Flights: Arrive at least 1.5 to 2 hours before your scheduled departure time.

    International Flights: While COS primarily handles domestic flights, if you are taking an international flight, it’s still a good idea to arrive 3 hours before departure.

    These recommendations help ensure you have enough time for check-in, security screening, and any potential delays. If you have specific needs or are traveling during peak times, you might want to allow a little extra time.

  • Gratuity is not included in the quoted rate, so the amount provided is the total you are obligated to pay. However, if you feel the service was exceptional, your driver will be happy to accept any additional tip you wish to offer as a token of appreciation. Tips can be added when paying by credit card

  • Since we do not require upfront payment for most of our services, we kindly ask that you inform us as soon as possible if you need to cancel. As a small, often busy transportation business, early notification allows us to potentially accommodate other clients and minimize the impact of your cancellation.
